In a David v Goliath contest, ForgetMeNot Africa’s Message Optimiser came second to Blackberry Messenger for the Innovation in Messaging award, at the Global Messaging Awards held last night in London.
While we were disappointed not win we are delighted that our Global Messaging industry peers recognise Message Optimiser (MO) as a major innovation in the messaging space and one we know will change the lives of millions of people in Africa going forward.
We congratulate RIM on their achievement and hopefully we will be back again next year to do battle once again!

Let me start by first congratulating you on your success chalked up so far-I am positive your aim of being at the top next year will be realized.
I am a Ghanaian resident in the city of Accra.I have thoroughly examined your various offerings as a software company and I am very much excited about what you do.Since 2008 when I had opportunity to work with Zenith Bank Ghana as an e-business/e-banking marketer,I have been a keen follower of happenings in the mobile telephony/e-commerce industry in the country.Over the last ten years, mobile technology has grown in leaps and bounds in this country and it is my candid opinion that platforms like yours will do the trick in harnessing the power of mobile technology and as a matter of consequence, transform lives and businesses.
I work with Esoko presently as a business development and sales officer.Esoko is a market information service that basically empowers individuals and groups to exchange market data using mobile phones and the web. It’s been an exciting ride so far as I see our product touching and transforming lives directly.
I see your initiative as very exciting and will like to partner with you in Ghana.I think Ghana will be a great place to see the fortunes of your expand-mobile phone penetration now stands at 67%.
